Rudy Giuilani cannot do anything. He'll probably be called as a witness for the Democrat House managers. His quote, "Trial By Combat" preceded Donald Trump's speech. If he's called to testify and if they have him lying to Congress. That will be another nail in his coffin with the New York State, Pennsylvania and New Jersey bar associations. He'll be outed as a member over at those places. There is a signed petition of over six hundred New York State lawyers and law school students who want him disbarred.
Yes, this impeachment looks like it going to be a sham. They probably won't get seventeen Republican senators for conviction. Republicans, both House and Senate, are just too afraid of Trump. They need him for the 2022, 2024 and 2028 elections.
